To Set Session Timeout Period

Use this procedure to set or disable session timeout period. By default, the timeout period is ten minutes of user inactivity.

  1. On the top application menu, click Admin.
  2. Click DatixWeb Configuration under the System Settings menu.
  3. Click All Modules in the left-hand navigation menu, go to System Wide Settings section, and enter time in minutes into the Minutes To Timeout field.
    Tip: To turn off this feature, enter a value of -1 into this field. This disables the session timeout completely, and is not desirable for security reasons. You can both keep the timeout feature and prevent it from clearing the DIF1 form for your users. To do this, select Yes in the Disable The Timeout On DIF1 drop-down field.
